Skyline3 EA - Top Performer of Automated Trading Championship 2008.
This expert advisor was 16th of 705 participants of Metaquotes Automated Trading Championship 2008. The EA is simple trend following strategy with aggressive money management. It was made and optimized in just 1 hour with no serious intention and, as old code template was used (suitable for quick backtesting), small bug in the code of order opening made it to miss few trades on requotes. If not that, it could make about $74900 or overall 6th place. And if I had not limit it from trading in December, it could make about $126700 (or 5th place). Furthermore, if I had not capped lot size at 5 (but allowed up to 15 with 3 orders), it could make $276900 or 1st place! (It's always easy to be smart afterwards :) )
